Digital portfolio for an engineer firm in Colombia


The construction and engineer firm was looking for marketing tools to expand their services around Colombia.

Since they don't count with a commercial website they were looking for an easy and light way to share their portfolio with their future clients on digital mediums.


Accessibility sometimes means 'light-weight files'

One of the firm requirements was keeping the 'files' portfolio easy to share with clients whom most of the time were checking in digital screens.


The result for DVinga for the portfolio was a PDF published on ISSU which the client could print or just share the link with potential clients.



1. Firm Introduction

Since the portfolio is for governmental purposes the firm wanted to be modern, but at same time serious. That's why I included DVinga's Mission, Vision, and highlighting some of their projects, additionally letter 'D' in the word CONTENIDO, it means Content in Spanish to connect with the brand identity.




2. Color by services

The firm has three main services, the idea when choosing colors for each session I chose by the color psychology .

Connected:

  • Construcción/ Construction with an active color: ORANGE , it's related with the brand color and the main service by the firm.

  • Interventoría/construction work supervision with a neutral color: DARK GRAY , it's related with the activity, more serious.

  • Consutoría/Consulting with: Yellow, an alert color, to be more observant to details.




3. Sizing priorities

Another requirement was showing in the same catalog more than 400 pictures of projects in the minimum

number of pages. Sizes for pictures and the way how distributing the text was fundamental to present the pictures organized.
