Visual identity and website customization for a neuroscience research lab.
Designed a coherent academic visual system and customized the website https://www.levensteinlab.org/ to clearly present research, publications, and team information.
The goal of this project was to create a clear, credible, and coherent visual presence that reflects the lab’s academic work and makes complex research accessible to a broad audience.
🎯 Project Goals
Establish a consistent visual identity for the research lab
Customize the website to align with academic standards
Improve clarity and structure for research, publications, and team information
🧩 My Role
For this project, I was responsible for:
Visual identity design for the research lab
Website customization to reflect the new identity
Defining typography, color palette, and visual hierarchy
Adapting the website structure for academic content
Ensuring a clean, neutral, and credible academic tone
Responsive adjustments for desktop and mobile
This approach ensured consistency across the lab’s online presence.

🎨 Visual Identity
The visual identity was designed to support:
Clarity and readability
A neutral, professional academic aesthetic
Long-term use across website, publications, and presentations
Website Customization
The website was customized to clearly present:
Research areas
Publications
Lab members
Resources and contact information
Special attention was given to:
Clear navigation
Logical content hierarchy
Accessibility and usability
The organization of the sections showcase the lab's Research, Publications, Team, Resources, and contact section

As a new Lab it requires new members and the website was an excellent tool to communicate with the target audience.
We design a website in a way the client could update his own content in the future easily. With a clear structure in the navigation of the files and the most important request: Mobile-friendly.
Thanks to Professor Levenstein for trusting me to make this website to continue being present online.
