I have had the opportunity to collaborate with some volunteer programs in Washington DC and Arlington, VA.

Virginia Cooperative Extension has The Master Food Program to promote healthy eating habits between the Arlingtonians; ACE Arlingtonians Energy Master to help families reducing their energy consumption; and Blue Pearl Photography teaching photography for people who want to make a change in their careers.

I contributed to the volunteer programs illustrating flyers and posters for different events following their branding strategies.

It was interesting and personally rewarding to connect with other people from around the world in the States while I was doing the transition from my home country, Colombia.
